Pet owners can save with ‘desex’ discount

REDUCING unwanted litters as well as the chance of developing organ-related health issues, Fairford Road Animal Hospital is discounting the cost of desexing dogs, cats and rabbits by up to 40 per cent this month.

Desexing animals not only helps to prevent unwanted pregnancies – meaning fewer unwanted animals – but research shows that desexed animals live longer and healthier lives.
Desexing also reduces the risk of certain diseases and behavioural issues, benefiting your animal’s health and welfare.
Animal Hospital Practice Manager Ashley Murlowski said they were pleased to be partnering with National Desexing Network and taking part in National Desexing Month.
“When you desex your pet, you’re doing your pet, yourself and your community a big favour,” she said.
“Your pet’s health and longevity improve, you’re saving yourself large vet bills from all the health complications that could come from an undesexed pet, and you are preventing unwanted litters ending up in pounds or shelters.”
