For the 2024 Perfect Plate Awards, a new Best Dessert category has been introduced, which has attracted a sweet selection of entries.
Bankstown Sports’ La Piazza is offering Penne Pollo Toscano in a creamy sauce with chicken, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and spinach for $29.
The Greenfield Bistro team has created ‘The Greenfield’ costing $30 and comprising a Humpty Doo Barramundi with potato and leek confit, roast chicken sauce, salmon roe and Australian Native sea succulents.
In the dessert category, they are offering ‘The Autumn’, a buttermilk pannacotta with torched Italian meringue and chocolate soil for $12.
Meanwhile The Hive at Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL is offering a Wagyu Beef Short Rib for $34.20 for members and $38 for guests as well as a Strawberry and Rhubarb Crumble for $13.50 for members and $15 for members.
Kingsgrove RSL’s Fireside Brasserie has created Teriyaki Barramundi for $25 for members and $29.40 for guests while Panania Diggers’ The Siding Bistro is featuring their Spinach Encased Beef Rib for $35 for members and $40 for guests as well as a Coconut Pineapple Pudding for $15 for members and $18 for guests.
Bankstown Sports Group Culinary Director Evan Burgess says each dish has been meticulously crafted with the freshest ingredients to offer a delightful gastronomic experience.
“We invite members and guests to discover perfection on a plate at Bankstown Sports today,” he said
With some incredible prizes up for grabs, members and guests are urged to visit the clubs by Sunday, June 16, taste the Perfect Plate dish and give it a score out of five by scanning the eatery’s QR code or filling out a simple paper form.
