Manager Andrew Shenouda said their building’s whole basement was flooded and the roof of the ladies toilet also collapsed.
“This has caused significant issues in our main boxing room and other boxing rooms,” he said.
“These rooms are also used for other general club activities such as junior bootcamp classes, holiday programs and boxing for fitness classes, which is part of our Fit 4 Life Police program.
“Unfortunately, we have had to cancel a number of these classes because of the flood, however in the interests of the community, we are trying to find other options for the classes that we can.
“We are hoping to get some support from local business to get us up and running again as soon as possible and ask anyone who can help to give us a call and ask for Andrew on 9759 4934.”
