Parklife resident John Simpson said it was a wonderful day and a fantastic opportunity to get to know all of the locals.
“Along with the free face painting and making balloon animals, the children were entertained by displays from the SES, Fire Brigade and Local Area Police Command,” he said.
“We’re hoping our first community event will be the start of many after a stressful couple of years for our residents, with covid and construction disruptions from cladding replacement. We’re keen to create a very happy and inclusive community.”
Parklife community welcomes hundreds at first family fun day
OVER 300 sausage sandwiches and hundreds of ice-creams, drinks and coffees were provided free to the community when Campsie’s Parklife Apartments residents held their first Family Fun Day (pictured).
