Paralympic gold medalist recognised with an OAM heading in hereheading in

MADISON de Rozario (pictured made history becoming the first Australian female to win a Paralympic marathon gold medal and her efforts have now been recognised with a Medal (OAM) of the Order of Australia in the General Division for service to sport at the Tokyo Paralympic Games 2020.

Taking out the women’s T54 wheelchair race in record-breaking time, she also won gold in the 800m T53 and bronze in the 1500m T54.
The Sydney Olympic Park resident made history again last year by becoming the first Australian woman to win the New York marathon.
