Paper Dolls series set to debut featuring local shopping centre

YOU might see yourself pop up on TV if you were earlier this year shopping at Roselands shopping centre where a range of scenes were filmed and which feature in episode one of Paramount+ Australia’s highly anticipated series ‘Paper Dolls’ which debuted on Sunday.

At the cusp of the new millennium, five aspiring singers are thrust into the spotlight in pursuit of pop-stardom and fame.
Never far from the watchful eye of the cameras, fans and critics, girl group Harlow is born out of music reality television show Pop Rush, redefining pop culture in the process.
However, the five young women must navigate the dark side of a glamorous industry determined to commodify them.
The superb ensemble cast includes Emma Booth (Glitch), Emalia (Australian Gangster), Naomi Sequeira (Evermoor Chronicles), Miah Madden (Redfern Now), Courtney Clarke (Last King of The Cross), Courtney Monsma (Frozen the Musical), Thomas Cocquerel (The Gilded Age) and Ditch Davey (Spartacus).
The eight-part, scripted drama will stream exclusively on Paramount+ Australia, dropping new episodes weekly.
