Organised and run by the school P&C, with raffle donations from local businesses, the funds raised will go a long way to support the school with resources.
A school spokesperson said weather conditions that day were extreme as the children walked, skipped, hopped and ran their way through each course and were doused in coloured powder along the way.
“All of the Padstow Park students thoroughly enjoyed the event and were spectacularly coloured by the end,” she said.
“But we were cooled down nicely thanks to the Illawong Rural Fire Service, who supplied a fire truck for the event.
“The children lined up to be sprayed and were happily cleaned up by the big hoses.”
