Over 50 new graduates to join hospital’s nurses

MORE than 50 new graduate nurses and midwives will be working the wards at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital next month.

State MP for Oatley, Mark Coure, says it is fantastic and will significantly boost the capacity and capabilities available at Bankstown Hospital.
“These extra nurses and midwives will add to the fantastic services already provided by Bankstown Hospital, giving our heroic health workers the support they need to continue protecting and saving lives,” he said.
Throughout their first year, graduates are provided with opportunities in a variety of clinical settings to ensure they gain a range of experience and consolidate skills and knowledge developed while at university.
