Club president Charlie Ibrahim says he couldn’t be prouder of the teams’ efforts coming out of Covid.
“It’s the best Guildford has been in a very long time,” he said.
“We’ve been building towards this in the last couple of years, putting in good quality coaches and the kids have really been enjoying it; when kids are happy, they play good footy.
“Division 1 is a very tough competition and for our three teams to go through undefeated is a very big thing.”
Ibrahim said all the Owls had put in a lot of work training wise but admitted their achievement was still rare.
“It doesn’t happen very often and going into this week’s grand finals undefeated shows that they have really proved themselves to be champions,” he said.
“We are confident going into the grand finals but as we know, anything can happen on the day.
“But our top three teams have been standouts all season and I can definitely see a lot of professional careers arising out of our young troops.
“Some of the players have already been spotted by talent scouts but they will keep playing for Guildford and then next year maybe go into full-time training with an NRL team; it’s going to be very exciting.”
