Opportunity to nominate favourite business to score industry awards

THE Canterbury Bankstown Local Business Awards has returned for 2023.

Nominations are open for the community to put forward the names of outstanding businesses to be considered in a range of industry categories.
Precedent Productions Managing Director Steve Loe founded the Awards more than 35 years ago to recognise the achievements and contributions that local businesses make to their communities.
He said local businesses contributed much more than goods and services to their communities.
“Local businesses contribute to their community’s unique identity,” he said.
“They also give back to the community by sponsoring sporting teams, supporting local charities, providing work experience for students and employment for residents of all ages.”
Mr Loe said the Awards were an opportunity to thank outstanding Canterbury Bankstown businesses for their contribution to the community.
“Nominating a business for their outstanding service or products is a great way to thank these people, who are the backbone of our community,” he said.
The Canterbury Bankstown Local Business Awards are made possible by the ongoing support of major partners Canterbury Bankstown Council, NOVA Employment and Bankstown Central; and support partners White Key Marketing and Cornerstone.
Nominations close April 25 and the gala presentation evening will be held at Revesby Workers’ Club on Tuesday, June 27.
