Opportunity to enjoy new sights and sounds rolls in

WITH a feast of winter delights to enjoy, Bankstown Canterbury Community Transport (BCCT) social outings are back in full swing.
July highlights include visits to the National Indigenous Art Fair, the Archibald Prize Exhibition, Bastille Day at Circular Quay and the Hydro Majestic at Medlow Bath in the Blue Mountains as well as an evening outing to Dooleys Club and more.
With accessible buses and a fully qualified and experienced BCCT team supporting all customers, seniors are encouraged to book for a social outing as it’s a great way to stay connected and meet new friends.
Ahead of the busy season, BCCT is calling for volunteers needed to help as bus assistants.
“As well as giving you a sense of purpose, volunteering is also a positive way to meet new people, be part of a great team and provide you with an opportunity to give back to the community,” a BCCT spokesperson said.
With full training provided before commencing duties, volunteering as a bus assistant will give you transferable job skills to further your career.
