PART of Open Inner West Festival, the Solidarity Choir workshop will teach songs that promote respect for diversity, language and culture as well as peace. Come and sing songs in English and other community languages before performing the songs at popup performances on the streets of Newtown. Polish open day event
‘POLISH Cultural Open Day – Honouring Nina’ is on offer at the Polish Club, Ashfield, this Sunday, June 16, 12-5pm. The fun Polish cultural day for young and old, will feature face painting, Polish folkloric dancing by ‘Syrenka’, music, a youth art competition, craft displays, delicious Polish food and a photographic exhibition and formal presentations honouring the life of a great Polish Australian multicultural activist Nina Skoroszewska OAM.
