One of the organisers, Debra Mayo (nee Allen), who attended the school from 1962-69, said: “The day started with a meet and greet with Principal Elizabeth Rump.
“What a day was had by all. The smiles never left our faces as we walked the corridors of our past.

“The old school bell no longer requires a bellboy as technology has replaced it; goodbye blackboards, chalk and dusters, welcome smart boards and whiteboards with digital aids.
“The wooden desks and ink wells no longer exist, now it’s casual corners, cushions and pillows.”
Debra said the group had a magnificent day and wanted to thank Principal Elizabeth who opened the school especially for the morning.
“A big thank you also to Dooleys for putting on a wonderful lunch,” she added.
