It’s your chance to say thanks and recognise the efforts of our many front-line workers and local businesses who been through a tough time, facing down Covid-19 and potential job losses while continuing to provide the services we need.
Awards founder and Precedent Productions Managing Director Steve Loe said it was heartening to see how many nominations had already poured in.
“It’s no surprise to see how quickly nominations for this year’s Cumberland City Local Business Awards have started to come in,” he said.
“The Cumberland City community is always an enthusiastic supporter of the awards, which shows not only the high calibre of the businesses in this area, but the wonderful community spirit of those who live and work in Cumberland City.
“It’s wonderful to see the community getting behind this opportunity to support and recognise businesses and their staff after a difficult year.”
Businesses could also self-nominate to show staff how much their efforts are valued.
Nominating is as simple as heading to the Awards website, thebusinessawards.com.au, and searching for your favourite business.
Customers can also nominate in-store via a QR Code poster.
Nominations for the program close on Thursday, May 27.
