New Year’s Eve parties to enjoy

MAKE your New Year’s Eve memorable by getting all the family together or grabbing a bunch of friends and make it extra special as you farewell the decade on Tuesday, December 31, at a Canterbury Bankstown club.

• Bankstown Sports Club – Grand Ballroom with a three-course feast and live entertainment by Monique Montez, The Vallies and The Shy Guys plus a fireworks finale. Tables of 10. Tickets, $130, doors open at 7pm. Bookings essential. Free entertainment in the Rainforest Lounge with The Nevilles, 8am-12am, and a DJ, 12-3.30am. You can also celebrate the Italian way at La Piazza with a seafood buffet and DJ from 9pm. Tickets, $95 a person, free for child under three. Dinner served at 7.30pm. Bookings essential.
• Revesby Workers’ Club – A nonstop night of entertainment, featuring glamorous entertainment from The Gatsby Experience including world class singers, dazzling showgirls, tappers and flappers plus the Gatsby Girls. Doors open in the Whitlam Theatre from 8.30pm. Best dressed prizes, photo booth, fireworks and $9 champagne cocktails. Tickets, $40 a person, with bookings essential. Wine and dine at Bel Cibo or Firestone Kitchen and then head to the Countdown Party, with one-hit wonders playing all of your favourite tunes. It’s free, 9pm-1am. Watch the fireworks on the big screen.
• Bankstown RSL – This NYE party to remember features the High Rollers Big Band with classy big band tunes and soulful dance hits. It’s free and on offer from 7.30pm.
• Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL – Solid Gold Party from 9pm for $25. The amazing Solid Gold Dancers will have you up on your feet dancing 2019 away to some of the best songs ever recorded. This high energy show includes music from the 70s right through to today’s superstars. Bookings essential.
• Mt Lewis Bowling Club – Grab a delicious meal from the bistro and then sit back and enjoy The Breakaways from 8pm. It’s free and guaranteed to make your evening memorable.
