Amateur boxing will kick-off at 1pm with teens from 14 years right through to men and women in their 40s, travelling from all over Sydney to participate before one of Bankstown’s biggest fight cards ever, gets underway at 6pm with 15 professional bouts.
The main fight of the night features Sydney’s Mirko Pizzi taking on Bangladeshi boxer Omar Furak for the WBC Australasian silver title.
Neutral Corner promoter Paul Nasari says also on the card will be some great bouts with Panania boxer Tyler Blizzard against Fillipino Marvilo Aballe, while Ben Campbell takes on Alex Lual from the George Kambosos stable.
“Pro debutant Marco Romeo is also ready for a fight and will take on Perth boxer Jaiden Chin plus there’s many other fan favourites ready to go toe to toe.”
With heavyweights, middleweights and female boxing as well, boxing fans are in for a treat as eight of the bouts are over four rounds, meaning action-packed entertainment on Saturday, March 25.
All fighters will weigh-in the night before at The Mill Hotel on Friday, March 24, from 6pm.
