New resource centre for business to thrive

IF you’ve always wanted to create high quality photography, videos or a podcast to market your business, it’s never been easier than it is right now.

Canterbury Bankstown Council has launched ‘Studioventure’ – a fantastic new resource centre for businesses and not-for-profits, giving them the opportunity to grow and thrive.
Studioventure is a first for a council in NSW; providing a full-service commercial studio with photography, videography and podcast facilities for our community.
Canterbury Bankstown businesses will be able to access all services at a discounted rate, and local start-ups (those less than 24 months old) will receive five free studio hours to kick-start their marketing journey.
Mayor Khal Asfour says the pandemic changed the way businesses connect with the community and the council’s thrilled Studioventure will give people valuable access to these services, at a very low rate.
“The opportunities are endless; you can create a high-quality video presentation for a conference, or a 30-second advertisement. You might be a CEO wishing to start a podcast for your customers or you could be after some slick promotional photographs of your team,” he said.
“We’re excited to see how creative our community will be once they get involved in Studioventure.”
Antoinette Khalil from the Canterbury Bankstown Chamber of Commerce, says Studioventure is an exciting new initiative for local businesses who recognise the need for new ways to market themselves.
Kane from Integrated Fitness, one of the businesses who were able to test the facilities at Studioventure, found that it was accessible and easy to use for the whole team.
“Having the access to be able to come to a place like this in the local community helps a lot …the facilities hit everything we need for a business,” he said.
