Murder charge for stabbing

A MAN, 24, has been charged over an alleged fatal stabbing in Riverwood last Sunday night.

Police were called to Roosevelt Avenue, Riverwood, about 7.20pm, where they found a 67-year-old woman suffering multiple stab wounds to her torso and back, and despite the efforts of paramedics, she died at the scene.
A short time later, a man was arrested at a nearby home on Kentucky Road, Riverwood, where a second crime scene was then established.
The man was charged with murder.

Arrest over intimidation on train
A MAN from Bankstown has been charged over the alleged intimidation of two passengers travelling on a train in the Sydney CBD earlier this year, following a public appeal for information.
The man allegedly intimidated two male passengers travelling on a train between Martin Place and Town Hall on Friday, October 22, at 6.15pm.
The 55-year-old was charged with two counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm and not wear fitted face covering public transport waiting area.

Three-car smash witness hunt
POLICE are investigating a crash involving three vehicles at Roselands last Saturday night.
A silver Toyota Camry crashed into a black Toyota RAV4, before it collided head-on with a white Toyota Kluger, at the intersection of Canterbury Road and Campaspe Avenue, Roselands, about 8.15pm.
The male driver of the Camry fled the scene, while one passenger was cut free and taken to hospital and another was not injured.
The driver of the Kluger, a 56-year-old man, and his 61-year-old female passenger were taken to hospital for assessment, while a 34-year-old man driving the RAV4 was not injured.
