The overwhelmed winner said she would be paying off her mortgage and retiring immediately.
The life-changing entry was purchased at Broadarrow Newsagency and Tobacconist in Narwee.
Sharing her excitement with an official from The Lott this morning, the woman explained she’d just made the stunning discovery.
“Oh my god! Oh my god,” she cried with happiness.
“God bless you. What good news.
“I am so happy. My whole body is numb.
“I am so excited. Thank you very much.”
When asked what she thought she might do with $2.5 million, she said the options were endless.
“I can help my children, I can help everyone,” she declared.
“I am going to pay off my mortgage and I will be able to retire now.
“It’s incredible.”
Broadarrow Newsagency and Tobacconist owner Mandy Tiaw said she was in celebration mode.
“I was so shocked when I heard the news that we’d sold another division one winning entry,” she said.
“I just can’t believe it.
“We’ve put up posters and we’ve got balloons everywhere. We’ve also been sharing the news with our customers.
“We are so happy to know our winner has checked their ticket.
