Moustie’s miracle feat to motivate all

Moustafa Ardati is promoting a fundraising cause for people with a disability who need help.

TEN years ago Moustafa ‘Moustie’ Ardati couldn’t even string a sentence together, he used to ‘stutter every second word’ and if not in his wheelchair, had to be carried everywhere.

But to this Greenacre man, 33, his cerebral palsy is a motivation and now with his life transforming through exercise, he is planning to pull a two-tonne ute to show us the sky is the limit.
The avid Canterbury League C-Life Health Club fan has been training three times a week with George Boutros since 2014 and is getting stronger physically and mentally, learning to walk for the first time and able to stand unaided.
“I am constantly striving to achieve my goals of independence and walking one day has been a path towards success,” he said.
“There has been prejudice, bullying, many hardships, lessons, mistakes made and things to be grateful and thankful for along the way.”
In late 2016, Moustafa established business, ‘Stay True Be You’, in the hope of making a difference in people’s lives, encouraging them to be true to who they are and believe in themselves.
“I would love to inspire, motivate and change as many lives for the better as possible,” he said. “I am available for motivational speaking gigs and offer one on one life coaching.”
To raise awareness and funding for cerebral palsy, Moustafa is planning a mega family event in October with entertainment, a motivational seminar and where he will attempt his feat of pulling a two-tonne ute. Venue details and the date are yet to be finalised.
“I want to inspire young people with disabilities, those going through difficult times or those that have given up on life,” he added.
“My goal is to walk again, live my best life and travel around the country and overseas motivating and inspiring others.”
