Most boys score entry into preferred university course

KEEN to showcase their success, Birrong Boys High School is looking forward to welcoming students, parents and families to the annual Open Day later this month.

Staff look forward to meeting with families to discuss matters relating to the education of boys, with Principal Darren Stevens encouraging all to attend to hear about key features of the school and recent examples of success.
“A significant recent increase in enrolments is largely due to our strong literacy and numeracy lessons, excellence in classroom practice from our experienced staff, our ‘whole person’ approach to education and specialised instruction which have resulted in outstanding results and an amazing level of identified growth,” Mr Stevens said.
With 87 per cent of HSC graduates achieving entry to their preferred university course, staff work in collaboration with families to ensure boys graduate as contributing and valued members of society.
“Our mentor program ensures all students have an identified pathway to the post school destination of their choice,” Mr Stevens said.
“Please join us, meet our teachers, have a coffee and enjoy a barbecue and tour of our school at our Open Day this month.”
The Open Day will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 3.10-5.10pm.
