Shed secretary Peter Nicola said the council asked them to be an event stallholder and they had a wonderful time bringing smiles to the children’s faces and satisfying the curious.
“You wouldn’t believe how many people were surprised when we told them who we were,” he said.
“They had never heard of a Mens Shed before but now fully appreciate who we are and were grateful for our efforts on the day.”
