Men charged over supplying cocaine

TWO men have been charged following an eight-month investigation into alleged drug supply in Bankstown.

In February 2023, Bankstown detectives established Strike Force Polar to investigate the supply and distribution of methylamphetamine and cocaine in the wider Bankstown area.
Following extensive inquiries, strike force investigators raided homes last Thursday in Punchbowl, Burwood and Bankstown.
During the searches, police allegedly seized over $20,000 cash, electronic devices, methamphetamine, cocaine and several vehicles.
A man 27, arrested at Punchbowl, was charged with two counts of possess prohibited drug, while another man was charged with supply indictable and commercial quantities prohibited, possess prohibited drug, possess or attempt to prescribed restricted substance, and recklessly deal with proceeds of crime more than $5,000.
