The new restaurant has been built on the same site as the original McDonald’s Yagoona, which was the very first restaurant opened in Australia back in 1971.
Local Canterbury-Bankstown resident, Vincent Orogan, will take on the role of Restaurant Manager.
Vincent said: “I’m very excited to be part of this incredible milestone and reopen Australia’s first ever McDonald’s restaurant.
“This location is extremely meaningful to McDonald’s as it represents the beginning of McDonald’s Australia.
“The restaurant will provide a range of flexible and rewarding jobs for people of all ages and experience levels.
“I’m looking forward to serving the Yagoona community great value, great quality food and creating feel good Macca’s moments.”
McDonald’s Yagoona will have a dedicated delivery room, Play Place, and historical Happy Meal toy display. It will also feature unique décor throughout the dining room to reflect the history and style of the original Yagoona restaurant.
Vincent and the team are looking forward to welcoming and meeting customers from 6.00am on Friday, 17 December.
