IT was a busy International Women’s Day for Auburn MP Lynda Volz who helped groups across Auburn celebrate the annual event, including taking part in the Sri Durga Devi Devasthanam Chariot Festival with NSW Opposition Leader Jodi McKay in Regents Park (right), and presenting awards at the Granville Rotary Club’s function at Granville Diggers (above).
Ms Volz said: “International Women’s Day is a wonderful time to celebrate the great women across Auburn and the contributions they continue to make to our community. These are women from a number of diverse cultures and backgrounds, all with a different story about their lives and achievements in Auburn.”
