Man, woman charged following shooting

A MAN and woman have been charged following a shooting in Guildford last month.

About 9.35pm on Monday, November 27, police were called to Bligh Street, Guildford, after reports of a shooting and located a bullet hole at the front gate of a property although no one was injured.
Cumberland Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident under Strike Force Gelding.
A 29-year-old woman arrested at the scene was released pending further inquiries, but a week later was arrested during a vehicle stop on Thorton Avenue, Bass Hill, and charged with two counts of possess unauthorised pistol and hinder or resist police officer in the execution of duty.
Later that day, Tactical Operations Unit and Raptor Squad officers arrested a 30-year-old man and he was charged with three counts of supplying an unregistered firearm/pistol, acquiring pistol subject to firearms prohibition order, and discharging a firearm intend cause grievous bodily harm (domestic violence).
