Man in serious condition after morning shooting in Greenacre

A MAN is in a serious but stable condition after he was shot in Greenacre yesterday morning.

It’s believed lawyer, Mahmoud Abbas, 31, was outside his home on Narelle Crescent, Greenacre, about 10.25am, when he was shot.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Bankstown Police, assisted by State Crime Command’s Criminal Groups and Raptor Squads, have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.
Investigations are in their infancy; however it’s believed to be a targeted incident.
