Man fighting for life as police hunt three men

A MAN is fighting for his life and a manhunt is underway for three men after a horrific crash in Padstow last night.

About 10.40pm (Sunday, August 4), emergency services were called to Davies Road, Padstow, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.
When Bankstown Police arrived they found a white Audi alight after colliding with a silver Nissan.
Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze.
Police were told the occupants of the Audi – believed to be three men – left the scene before police arrival.
The driver of the Nissan, a 39-year-old man, was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital in a critical condition.
A crime scene has been established and specialist officers from the Crash Investigation Unit commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
