Just after 7.30am on Sunday, April 21, police were called to Canterbury Road, Campsie, after an alleged domestic violence related assault which left a 41-year-old woman with injuries to her left eye and neck.
Police were told that the woman was allegedly assaulted by a man – known to her – before he left the scene.
Yesterday, officers attached to South West Metropolitan Domestic Violence High Risk Offender Team (DVHROT) attended a home on Glenfield Road, Casula, and arrested a 45-year-old man, who was charged with intentionally choke etc person without consent (DV), assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV), destroy or damage property (DV), stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (DV), and common assault (DV).
