The call has already gone out for registrations for Clean Up Australia Day 2023 and anyone who registers before December 31, will go into the draw to win a gift card.
Pip Kiernan, Chair of Clean Up Australia, says the environment is facing pressure unlike ever before and Clean Up Australia Day is a great opportunity to take practical action.
“Australians tell us every day that they are concerned about the world we live in but often feel frustrated and unsure how to make a positive impact,” she said.
“We seek the support of all Australians – together we can all make a real difference.
“Everyone who gets involved tells us how rewarding the day is and how it has made a lasting positive impact.”
Registration is free, and participants receive a free Clean Up kit, containing gloves and bags and other resources, with packs for individuals, families and community groups available (businesses are asked to pay a small fee to cover costs).
