For the Premier Division Men’s game, the first quarter was a scrappy affair with Pennant Hills controlling the conditions better, helping them head into the first break with a five-point advantage.
The Magpies were able to get the game on their terms in the second quarter, however were once again wasteful in front of goal.
A disappointing second half saw Pennant Hills outwork the Magpies and control the game.

In the Premier Division Women’s game, the Magpies were looking at bolstering their finals aspirations with a win that would see them sail into second spot.
The Magpies came out red hot from the start and it showed early with the majority of the first half being spent in their half and they led at halftime, 25-0.
The second half saw much of the same with the ball being spent again in the Magpies forward 50 metres, however they were only able to convert one of the five chances on goal.
The beginning of the fourth quarter saw a rejuvenated Pennant Hills team kick back to back goals.
The Magpies however were quickly able to recapture composure and found themselves the winners.
Inner West Magpies 6.13.49 defeated Pennant Hills 2.2.14.
