Macca’s customers help raise record $6.4m on McHappy Day

MACCA’S Auburn customers were among the many around the country who have raised a record-breaking $6.4 million for this year’s McHappy Day – making it the biggest and most successful McHappy Day in Australian history.

McDonald’s customers dug deep while visiting their store or placing orders via the MyMacca’s App and McDelivery to purchase a Big Mac, Macca’s Makers, Silly Socks and Helping Hands to support this year’s McHappy Day campaign for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
Now in its 32nd year, McHappy Day is the largest annual fundraiser for RMHC, raising much needed funds to help seriously ill children and their families stay together and close to the care while undergoing treatment in hospital.
RMHC CEO Barbara Ryan said they were so grateful to McDonald’s customers, crew, franchisees and everyone who came out to support McHappy Day.  “These funds will make an enormous difference to the lives of thousands of families across Australia,” she said.
