Lucky mini judges get to sample bags of Show fun

A TEAM of mini judges (pictured) have made their way through a record 392 show bags that will be offered at this year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show (April 8-19).

ALMOST 50 young testers have given the thumbs up to the show bags available at this year’s Sydney Royal Easter Show. A group of 49 children from CatholicCare, an organisation that provides a range of services for children and youth, and Sydney Royal competitors from the Glenorie Pony Club, had their work cut out for them when they tested the wide range of Showbags. The Show’s Manager of Operations and Product Development, Shane McGrath, says bag prices range from $3 to $35, and more than 107 Showbags sell for $10 or less – so there’s something for everyone, for every taste and budget. “It’s great to see our group of Showbag testers having fun and unpacking this year’s Showbags,” Mr McGrath said Murray Wilton, General Manager of the Sydney Royal Easter Show, said Showgoers should head to the Easter Show website to plan ahead and make savings across the board. “With a record-breaking number of Showbags, we suggest people jump online and look at what’s on offer this year,” he said. “There are also great savings to be made by purchasing Early Bird tickets online before midnight April 7, with the price of pre-Show Family Tickets ($99.50) frozen for the eighth year in a row.” Tickets and info: eastershow.com.au.
