Lucky grandad $200,000 richer

A RIVERWOOD grandad is looking forward to retiring earlier than he had expected after discovering he took home a $200,000 Lucky Lotteries prize.


The hardworking man revealed his windfall would allow him to cut down on work and he had put the prize aside for his retirement nest egg.
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of three random numbers at Lucky Len, Shop 35, Riverwood Plaza, Riverwood.
He said his prize had landed at the perfect time.
“Wow! This is unbelievable!” he said.
“This couldn’t come any more in handy. This is going to make a huge difference in my life.
“I’m so excited! I can’t believe it.
“I’d never won anything major in my life.”
The overjoyed winner revealed he’d been playing Lucky Lotteries from “day one” and his prize would go a long way.
“I’ve been playing Lucky Lotteries for decades,” he said.
“I do enjoy working but I am looking forward to cutting down on the amount of hours I do.
“This will certainly be a great help!
“We will pay some bills, spoil the grandchildren and use it for our retirement.”
Lucky Len owner Martin Ali said it was fantastic to discover the outlet had sold another major prize winning entry.
“It feels great! This is the second time one of our customers has won a major prize in less than six month,” he said.
