Loving their footy for over 90 years

FRESH from celebrating 90 years of soccer in the local community in 2019, the Earlwood Wanderers Football Club (EWFC) is excited to get their 2020 season underway and seeking the next crop of future players.

You could be the next Socceroo or Matilda.
There are individual and team positions available across many age groups for boys and girls, Little Wanderers (two to five-year-olds), and All Age Teams for men and women.
EWFC focuses on basic skills and player development in non-competitive ages. Competition team ages range from U/12 through to 18 years where teams are graded according to a player’s skill level.
Players then move on to AA Saturday, AA Sunday, BBC (an association Premier League), Over 35s, Over 45s, All Age Women’s and GMT (Premier League for Women).
The fastest growing female sport, Girls Football is strongly represented at EWFC, with games played on Sundays.
Since 1929, Earlwood has been well known as a community who loves their soccer and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, with over 1,000 registered players last year.
Run completely by volunteers, the EWFC would not have been able to survive for as long as it has, had it not been for locals happily giving their time to help out.
For info about registering to play, go to ewfc.com.au, playfootball.com.au or contact the EWFC Age Coordinators via Theo on 0412 480 563.
