THE number of Covid-19 cases “active in the community” will have to be close to zero before any lockdown restrictions will be eased, with Premier Gladys Berejiklian promising to make an announcement about the future of the lockdown “today or Thursday”.
There are almost 800 active cases in NSW, but the “most concerning figure” is the number of active cases in the community, with the Premier again urging everyone to stay at home unless travelling for essential services and work.
