Local student celebrates prestigious ‘Caltex Best All Rounder Award’ win

IN recognition for his excellence academically, on the sports field and in the community, De La Salle Revesby Heights Year 12 student Justin Huynh has been named as the school’s recipient of the 2020 Caltex Best All Rounder Award, one of Australia’s most prestigious secondary school prizes.
He joins a select group of secondary students from around Australia who have received the award after demonstrating outstanding leadership qualities and commitment across a range of activities, including community spirt and service.
De La Salle Revesby Heights Principal Tim Logue said Justin was a worthy recipient of the nationally-recognised award.
“The award recognises Justin’s contribution across several disciplines – he has been a wonderful asset to our school and the wider community, setting a terrific example for his peers and younger students to follow,” Mr Logue said.
Caltex Managing Director and CEO Matthew Halliday said the Australian fuel and convenience company was proud to have recognised generations of students, such as Justin, since the awards began in 1985.
“I congratulate Justin and wish him well as he moves into the next phase of his life,” Mr Halliday said.
“Justin joins an exclusive list of Caltex Best All Rounders to have been recognised over the past three decades.”
The Caltex Best All Rounder Award has been presented to thousands of final-year students around the country across its 35-year history.
