Little Wings

A NEW, fully funded aircraft will help ensure Little Wings is ready to take to the skies and continue flying seriously ill children to and from life-saving treatment over the busy holiday period.

The plane, fully funded by the Federal Government with the added bonus of increased operational funding form St George Bank, was officially launched last week.
Clare Pearson, CEO of Little Wings (pictured with St George bank general manager Ross Miller and 12-year-old Travis Newman who uses the Little Wings service for cancer treatment and flies regularly from his family farm in Murrami, NSW) said this lifeline had come at a critical time.
“Without this additional funding for the third aircraft to our fleet, we simply wouldn’t be able to fulfil the demand of giving some relief to families during the Christmas season,” she said.
