IN the mid-sixties, a bright fourteen-year old schoolgirl named Patricia, established herself as a prominent force in the Australian music industry and became a household name – Little Pattie.

Stompin’ to Dooleys Lidcombe Catholic Club to wow the crowd this Saturday (10am-12pm), Pattie’s talents are credited with many industry awards including Best Female Singer, Most Popular Female Performer, TV Logie for Best Teenage Personality and a succession of Gold Records.
The ageless beauty is looking forward to returning to Lidcombe and has fond memories of the local fans.
“The further west you perform, the better the crowd as they’re more uninhabited and are always out for a good time,” she said.
“I’ve performed at Dooleys once before but I’m looking forward to going back and checking out all of the amazing refurbishments at the club.
“I’m hoping there will be a lot of baby boomers in the audience because I’ll be performing all of the greatest hits from my Bandstand days in the 60s.”
As well as great memories of performing at Dooleys, Pattie loved her time living with an aunt in Lidcombe in the 1970s.
“The whole area was becoming very interesting and multicultural; so many fantastic cafes and restaurants were opening up,” she said. “It was just so diverse and incredible; I bet it is even more so now, I can’t wait to get there.”
Tickets: Members, $10 and guests, $15, at dooleys.com or eventbrite.com.au.
