Longterm Auburn Librarian and club facilitator Kemal Serdar says the club also discusses cinema, poetry and other literary subjects.
“We also have guest speakers, share resources and use the club forum to promote the library and council services,” he said.
The club has up to 30 people – aged 18 to 80 – attending on the first Monday of the month, 6-8pm, with the next on August 1.
“It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, relax and have fun,” Kemal said.
“There’s always new book shipments coming from Turkey so there’s a good chance that what we have access to here, is not available elsewhere.”
