It’s just one of the many free activities that make up the Let’s Go Ukrainian series, which promises to be a captivating experience filled with music, dance, art, cuisine and much more, showcasing the rich tapestry of Ukrainian culture at Library and Knowledge Centres, until November 30.
The aim is to bring together individuals of all backgrounds to appreciate the beauty and depth of Ukrainian tradition, fostering cross-cultural understanding and unity within community.
Highlights will include a free painting exhibition created by Ukrainian artists, Phillip Okwara and Tetiana Koldunenko, painting workshops where you could experience an introduction to Petrykivka – a traditional form of art painting, a special Ukrainian jewellery making workshop, and cookie decorating where children will discover the sweet art of cookie decorating in an exclusive cookie-decorating masterclass led by My Uki Cookie.
“The Ukrainian culture adds a vibrant thread to our City’s fabric and the Let’s Go Ukrainian series unites our community in a celebration of diversity,” Mayor Bilal El-Hayek said.
