Lessons inspire lifelong learners

BURSTING with activities in the lead up to Education Week including a Grandparents Day, Green and Gold sporting showcase and 100 Days of Kindergarten celebration, Holy Family Primary Granville East is a bustling Catholic primary school established in 1938 by the Sisters of St Joseph.

More than 80 years later, the school celebrates the uniqueness of each person within a diverse community and is committed to providing each student with a learning environment that is comprehensive, inclusive and challenging.
In the spirit of the school motto, ‘In Christ We Live, Love and Learn’, every student is valued for who they are and for the gifts they bring to Holy Family which nurtures students’ self-worth, uniqueness and individual contributions.
Principal Cheryl Fortini said the school’s highly qualified and committed teachers work in partnership with parents to pursue excellence in learning and to support each child’s needs and strengths.
She encourages parents to be actively involved in school life and through their community of learners, help ensure the best educational outcomes for each child.
“Our hope is to create lifelong learners who feel empowered to adapt to change and to bring about a spirit of faith and hope for the future,” Mrs Fortini said.
“We believe it’s important for students to find what they are passionate about so we give them exposure to a range of exciting opportunities to unlock their creative potential, develop a talent or follow a passion.
“We invite you to join our family and work together to ensure the best educational journey for your child.”
