Legend’s son hooks win in maiden fight

UP and comer Hassan Hamdan was all business as he climbed through the ropes on Saturday night at Club Punchbowl in front of a huge crowd, with his opponent having four fights under his belt to Hassan’s none.

However, Hassan poured on the pressure in the first round and was all hands right from the start, saying afterwards he wanted him out of there straightaway and that’s exactly what he did, winning by TKO in the first round over Fijian boxer Felix William Chonsue.

Coach Jeff Fenech and Father Nader (pictured with Hassan) were more than impressed, with Hassan also looking like fighting on the next card at Club Punchbowl on October 12.
