It’s just one of the many ways the centre is celebrating the holy month of Ramadan.
The Giving Moon is a large lit up crescent moon on a gold plinth, where customers can place their donated gifts until April 30.
A Bankstown Central spokesperson says customers are invited to leave an unwrapped gift for those who may be doing it tough this Ramadan so they can have an enjoyable and fulfilled Eid celebration at the end of the month.
During the last 10 days of Ramadan in the lead up to Eid, Bankstown Central will have a Gift Wrapping station available to help those busy shoppers buying their Eid gifts. Customers will be able to save time wrapping gifts this Eid by visiting the Gift Wrapping station on Level 2 and donating a gold coin to Brothers in Need for each gift they would like wrapped. The Gift Wrapping station will be in centre from April 21-30.
Leave gift for needy under ‘Giving Moon’
BANKSTOWN Central has partnered with Brothers in Need to donate gifts to those less fortunate with its Giving Moon.
