Last Good Hood Market of year offers Christmas treat

THEIR aim back in April was to raise enough funds to buy a decent coffee machine but Belmore’s Embassy Church congregation have kept their Good Hood Market going ever since on the last Saturday of the month.

With a range of products on offer from local makers, bakers and creators, shoppers can enjoy an Aladdin’s Cave of goodies including pre-loved fashion, books and plants.
With the last Good Hood Market of the year on this Saturday, November 26, 10am-2pm, in the church grounds at 76 Lakemba Street, Belmore, organisers are pulling out all stops to create a Christmas vibe.
“There will be carollers, DJ, buskers, free face-painting for children and free coffee for adults, even a sausage sizzle and other snacks available on the day,” Good Hood’s Rearne Gray said.
“The market has been helping with fundraising for Embassy Church community programs and we invite all to come along and enjoy the family-friendly event as we kick-off the Christmas season.”
