Ladies Luncheon to raise cash for charity

TICKETS are selling fast to continue the work of charity, Help for Hirschsprung Disease, which assists families who have children suffering with bowel disease, with a Ladies Luncheon on Friday, September 6, from 11am in the Terrace Bar at Canterbury League Club.

With MC commentator Prue MacSween, tickets cost $150 each and includes a three-course meal, special guests, live music, lucky door prize, raffles and a live auction plus free sparkling on arrival.
Help for Hirschsprung Disease supplies toiletry bags at no charge and Buddy Bears to childrens hospitals in Sydney and Melbourne.
Georgina Atlas, whose son George suffers with the disease and who established the charity, says the afternoon will be entertainment packed.
“We’re hoping to raise enough funds to expand our program into hospitals around Australia,” Georgina said.
