Kings to hold court in pre-season games

THE Sydney Kings will play six pre-season games; two at the NBL Blitz in Tasmania, one in Wollongong and three in Sydney.

With the Kings having come together for a pre-season mini-camp in July before some of the team headed off for World Cup commitments, this schedule will provide the additional preparation the team needs heading into what is set to be a huge 2019-20 NBL season.
Kings CEO Chris Pongrass is looking forward to seeing the new-look Kings hit the floor for the first time, as the club continues its preparations for its first home game on October 12.
“We know that our fans look forward to the pre-season schedule each year, and we’re excited to be able to showcase the team again in the lead up to what is going to be a very big year,” Pongrass said.
“With the tight schedule we have this year, we’ll play a number of games in Sydney and Wollongong, as well as heading to Tasmania for the Blitz. Unfortunately we weren’t able to fit in any other regional games, but we’ve committed to putting something on for our regional fans during our regular season at Qudos Bank Arena.”
