Fire fighters from Fire and Rescue Yennora Station, visited and demonstrated some basic fire survival skills such as ‘Get Down Low and Go, Go, Go!’ as well as stressing the importance of only lighting fires in the presence of a responsible adult.
Principal Natalie See said the visit also helped Kindergarten students develop a deeper understanding of their vital community role.
“The purpose of the visit was to educate our students on the significant contributions of the Fire and Rescue services to our community and how to be safe in an emergency,” she said.
