Killer Queen about to hold court here

FORMED in 2003, The Killer Queen Experience has risen from a Brisbane-based covers band to an international touring show – becoming one Australia’s most sought-after tribute acts.

When you’re in the audience watching these guys on stage, you will be forgiven for thinking you’re in the presence of the real band.
Lead singer John Blunt bares a startling resemblance to the original Freddie Mercury, and along with his crew members, they’ve been perfecting their look and sound for almost 15 years.
Killer Queen have taken their show to such places as the UK, Norway, Singapore, India and shared the bill with the likes of Jeff Beck, Foreigner, Journey, Twisted Sister, Thin Lizzy and Kelly Rowland.
It has taken numerous band member changes to “perfect” the “perfect” line up that is now the right Queen chemistry.
The two-hour live show consists of all Queens greatest hits including – Bohemian Rhapsody, We Will Rock You, We Are the Champions, Somebody to Love, Radio Ga Ga, Another One Bites the Dust and select album tracks for the hardcore fans.
With the release of the ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, Killer Queen is set to continue the flame and legacy into the next decade for the world-wide audience of one of the most loved and innovative rock bands of the modern era.
The Killer Queen Experience – The Rhapsody Tour is coming to Revesby Workers’ Club on Sunday, June 9. Doors open at 8pm. Tickets: $35 and available at the club or rwc.org.au.
