Kebab House steps up safety

AFTER a slightly extended break, the Berala Kebab House is open for 2021 and owner Nevzat (Nev) Aslan says his main message to their many loyal customers is “to stay safe”.

“We decided to extend the time we normally take off this time by a week just because of the situation here in Berala,” he said.
“It is very important for everyone to wear a mask, to look after themselves and keep exercising, walking or going to the gym.
“We want to make sure everyone stays healthy through this pandemic – our staff, our customers and our families.”
One change to help keep customers safe has been to remove the tables inside and put them out front instead.
“We have also changed our lentil soup to use a recipe like my grandma used to make and everyone loves it,” he said.
However what hasn’t changed is their extensive menu of tasty burgers, pizzas, Turkish pides and home-made freshly prepared dips including hummus, garlic and chilli, as well as delicious rice pudding and chilli yogurt.
Their Turkish style breakfast with Turkish salami, egg, olives, pepper cheese, cucumber and tomato, all served with Turkish bread and Turkish tea, is also still a firm favourite.
For lunch, try a freshly made gozleme with a choice of cheese and spinach; mince, spinach and cheese; chicken, mushroom and cheese; or get creative and choose your own combination, and if you call your order in, it will be ready and waiting when you arrive.
With plenty of masks and sanitiser on hand, the Berala Kebab House is open for takeaway from 7am to 9pm, seven days a week.
